General Role-Play Rules
~ Play Realistically - This is probably the most important rule to avoiding conflicts. Just play realistically. If there is a disagreement, I or another moderator will be the final judge.
~ Semi-Advanced RP -
Third Person - All posts (and biographies) should be written in third person past tense. There should be no I, you, me, etc. Post once and then wait for a reply. Do not keep posting unless you've waited at least 4 days.
Keep It Appropriate - Please keep the topic names reasonable. We don’t want obscene thread names floating around the site, and if we see them, they will be deleted. Jump into an ongoing threads before starting a new one to keep the site clustered free.
Use Proper Grammar/Spelling - Please try to use proper grammar and spelling to the best of your ability. It doesn't have to be perfect, of course, but at least try.
100+ Words - All posts must contain a minimum of 100 words. That way there should always be enough content to respond to and to keep the role-plays going smoothly.
~ Stay Active - Please keep your characters active. It's no fun to have to always wait forever for a reply. Try your best to come on often and take part in some role-plays! If you're going to be going away for a little while, please post in the Absences forum and let us know.
~ No Powerplaying/God Modding/Ect. - That means no controlling other people's characters. If found doing this, it's an immediate strike, no warning given. Unless you have permission that has been clearly stated by the owner, you may not, under any other circumstances, take control of another character.
* This also includes saying that attacks are successful. The other player decides whether it is a hit or miss.
~ No Gary/Mary Sues - That means absolutely no perfect characters. All characters will have flaws.
~ Follow the Books - What we mean by this is to keep it realistic to the books. Deputies and Leaders are respected. Follow the chain of command. If apprentices or younger warriors are being disrespectful, higher ranked cats have the right to dish out (fair) punishment. Only Medicine Cats and their apprentices know healing. Cobwebs are the only well-known healing method among other characters.
Romance & Hate Rules
No Love at First Sight - Get to know the character in RP before becoming friends/crushing/love/mates or dislike/enemies/nemesis.
Be Creative / Have Fun! - Feel free to create as much love drama as you want, as long as you follow the rules! Love Triangle? Sure! Love Decagon? Go for it, if it's possible!
No Detailed Mating - There could possibly be many different ages on here. Please, keep everything PG-13.
No Cross-Clan Relationships - As of right now, there are no Cross Clan Relationships! If you really feel the absolute need, send a message to me and ask for permission, but it is highly unlikely at the moment. The site is just getting started.
Battle Rules
Be Fair and Realistic - When there is a fight, keep it fair and realistic. No triple back flips off of trees or anything like that. Also, characters will get injured and they will be affected by it. Wounds will also take time to heal depending upon the severity. A warrior will not be ready to patrol the day after a serious battle. Also, characters will miss their attacks and be hit by other ones.
No Deathblows - It is strictly forbidden to kill an opponent without consent of the player. However, characters are not invincible. Players must show signs of characters getting weaker throughout the fight.
Be Willing to Lose - Losing a battle is never fun, but characters will not win every battle they fight either. Be honest. If a character has been in a previous fight recently, their second fight will not be as strong. Win some, lose some. Just have fun.
